Why I'm Finally Proud To Be A Malaysian..

The night before Azmi had recounted his experience at a ceramah in Lembah Pantai at which Anwar Ibrahim and Raja Petra had spoken. As he told me how the largely Malay audience had erupted into cheers as Raja Petra had declared that Indians and Chinese would be defended with Malay bodies if they were victimised, the hair on my arms stood. He too thought that there was a real possibility of the two thirds majority being denied. - Malik Imtiaz Sarwar

I have never been more proud. I know now for sure my fellow Malay and Chinese friends are my brothers. We are now all truly Malaysians........

Joke: Employment application

While filling out an employment application, a man paused over this question:
“Person to notify in case of an accident.”
Finally he wrote, “Anybody in sight.”

Crossing the road

"Turn Right, Turn Left and then Turn Right again before crossing the road". This is the recommended safest way to crossing a road.

I can't understand why we need to look at both directions, when vehicles only come from one direction. It will make more sense to look at the direction where the vehicle is coming from and cross. So the rule of crossing should be look at the directions where the cars are coming from and perhaps one glance at the other direction to satisfy our curiosity, then cross.

I think the old golden rule of right, left and then right again was created when the main transport were bicycles..

Rusty Babes

On the 50th Anniversary of The Munich Air Disaster, we lost at home to Manchester City. The defending was awful, Ronaldo and Scholes insignificant and the rest were mediocre. We have now lost all 5 games Rooney did not play in.

What a way to end our 1 week of remembrance and our title hopes..........

The Tax Conundrum

As the much dreaded tax season approaches, I felt the need to understand the fairness of our taxing system. "Tax the richer more, so the poor won't need to pay more taxes". Justice for all? Hardly...

Now, consider this. If someone were to pay 10% more tax than other citizens, would it mean that if his house was on fire, the fire brigade will arrive 10% faster?? Would he be treated 10% better in a public hospital? Does his children get 10 % more education at public schools? You get the idea..

Don't get me wrong. I'm all for this current taxing system as I fall in the lower tax category. It is just a question of fairness and something for those in the higher tax category to think about.

GIVE

Taken off Bill Clinton's book...

Who is happier?
The uniter or the divider
The builder or the breaker
The giver or the taker

I think you know the answer..
